Today I installed an early alpha release of ASP.NET 2.0, also known as Whidbey on my server. Yeah, yeah, I know. I shouldn't install beta stuff on my production servers, but I just couldn't resist it. I guess I'll have to live with the consequences (I am typing this message directly from the SQL Server Enterprise Manager because my Login functionality broke down ;-) )

The first article in a series of three, describing how to create Hit Counters in ASP.NET is finished now.

Today I finally had the time again to work on the site.

Today I finally got to updating the site....

Pffff, my part of the book Beginning Dreamweaver MX 2004 is done. Last weekend I sent in the latest versions of my Chapters, so as far as my contribution is concerned, the book is done.

Yesterday I published a new article that answers a very frequently asked question: "How can I force the browser to present the Save As dialog, instead of having the file opened by the browser?" I published it in the ASP category of the Articles section, because it was a bit too long for a FAQ. You can find the article here.

I am currently working very hard to finish my new book, Beginning Dreamweaver MX 2004. It's a lot of work, but it's worth it; the book is going to be great.

Today I added page called About My Books to the About section of the site menu.

I added an About section to the Site Menu. Currently it features just an About This Site but I'll add About Me and About My Books sections shortly.

I have added a first version of a "Search Engine" to the site. It's a bit buggy, doesn't have too much features yet, but I am planning to expand it over the next couple of days / weeks.
