Hi there, and welcome to Imar.Spaanjaars.com.My name is Imar Spaanjaars and I am the creator and owner of this web site. I am also the author of seven books about ASP.NET 4.5, WebMatrix, ASP.NET 4, ASP.NET 3.5, ASP.NET 2.0 and Dreamweaver, all published by Wrox Press. Since October 2008 I receieved the Microsoft MVP (Most Valuable Professional) award each year for my contributions to the ASP.NET community. You can read more about the MVP award, or check out my MVP Profile on the Microsoft web site.
Besides being an author, I am also a frequent visitor and one of the top posters of the Wrox P2P Forums. On these forums, I try to help fellow programmers solve their problems. I focus on the areas of ASP.NET 4.5 / ASP.NET 4 / ASP.NET 3.5 / 2.0, ASP, .NET in general, databases such as SQL Server and other web technologies (MVC, JavaScript, jQuery and more).

In my scarce free time I am a fanatic squash player, although unfortunately I am not as good as I'd like to be. Oh well, it takes practice to become good at something, so I guess I'll just have to keep trying. You can see the scores of the matches I've played in the Squash Blogs section.
