Yes, got renewed as an ASP.NET MVP again!!

For the third time in a row, Microsoft has decided to reward me with the MVP - Most Valuable Professional - award, again in the ASP / ASP.NET category.

Obviously, I am very proud of and happy with the award, especially since it's the third time I've received it.

Thanks to everyone (the people at Microsoft, the community, friends, colleagues, readers and others) for making it possible for me to receive the award!

Imar

I am religiously reading your book beginning asp.net 4 in C# and VB.I really like the book and I'm following the project step by step. is it appropriate to list the project on my resume to show my skills in asp.net web form or I should create another website following the method you presented in the book. I am new in this field so I dont know how to show that I have the skills to start a career in this area. what do you think?

Hi Johnpaul,

I think building and referring to another project looks better on your resume. For an interviewer, I don't think it says a lot that you followed the book and built the site. I think you need to show that you actully understood what it's all about, and builing your own site from scratch probably demonstrates that better.

Cheers,

Imar
